Ainsworth Studio.com, a website and graphic design firm in Tacoma, Washington has recently acquired Brittny Baab. Brittny graduated with her undergraduate studies in Psychology with a minor in literature. She is amazing at analyzing the data that we collect for our customers and then writing amazing copy for the websites. We are amazed at the results she is attaining. She has been reading through all of the information that google (currently holds 60+% of the search market share) puts out about their search engine. Recently we launched a website into a very crowded market and within 4 weeks it was on the first page of 3 of the top 5 search terms for that market!

At Ainsworth Studio, we research all sorts of statistics so that our search engine optimization (SEO) as well as our customers websites are as effective as possible. While looking for some statistics the other day I ran across this map and was fascinated to see how the world’s population is divided up. Take a look.

About 4 years ago I designed a logo for a company called High Point Mortgage. I have it displayed over at logo pond
. Many of the Ainsworth Studio clients come to us for website development not even knowing our past. The founder of Ainsworth Studio started working in a design firm in Minneapolis, MN back in 1998. His job was to develop logos in Adobe Illustrator and clean up photos in Adobe Photoshop. Obviously, he moved on to bigger and better things but, that first job was invaluable. He learned so much and studied so much Paul Rand during that time that logo design, form, function, shading, depth, etc. come very quickly and naturally.
The reason I bring up High Point is because recently, they’ve found us and have signed a contract to have Ainsworth Studio be their designers. We’re excited to take over and look forward to the future. Watch their site for some major changes: High Point Mortgage.

Ainsworth Studio.com was honored to received the best non-profit website design in August 2007 for our graphic and website design of New Song’s website (http://www.newsongministry.com). We were given the award from designfirms.org which is an international group of you guessed it, website and graphic design firms.

Web design is not book design, it is not poster design, it is not illustration, and the highest achievements of those disciplines are not what web design aims for. Although websites can be delivery systems for games and videos, and although those delivery systems can be lovely to look at, such sites are exemplars of game design and video storytelling, not of web design.
